FocusPoint International expands Crisis Management practice through a strategic partnership with Texas A&M University
FocusPoint International, a global risk consultancy that specializes in the full provision of organizational resiliency solutions for multi-national organizations is pleased to announce the expansion of its crisis response practice as it relates to product recall, contamination, food safety training, and preparedness. In exclusive cooperation with Texas A&M University (TAMU), through Texas A&M AgriLife and its Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture and its Food Science & Safety experts; FocusPoint will deliver unprecedented access to food safety and agricultural competitiveness experts on a global scale. Under the terms of the agreement, the partnership will allow food & beverage companies, that bear manufacturing, supply chain distribution, and consumer safety regulation risk exposure to benefit from:
- Food born illness/ crisis management response (either indemnified under a corresponding insurance policy or via direct response service agreement)
- Product traceability, transportation and disposal support
- Pre-incident food safety training, planning and preparedness services from world-renowned experts in facility inspection, regulation, supply risk mitigation, quality control, and international agricultural policy-advisory
- Multilingual and regional-specific support for companies that have an interconnected value chain - raw material sourcing/end product distribution on an international basis
